About the Event
Dead [Women] Poets Society is on tour... next stop, Norwich! Join us for an evening of resurrecting dead women poets in the beautiful city of Norwich. This time we'll be hosting two fabulous poets: Caroline Bird and Jade Cuttle. We're delighted that Caroline will be resurrecting the fantastic English/Australian poet Anna Wickham, and Jade will be resurrecting the prolific French-Greek-Italian Surrealist poet Gisèle Prassinos.
The main event will be followed as ever by our popular Dead [Women] Poets Society Open-Mic, for which we welcome poets and performers of all and no genders to the stage! Our only rule: for every poem of your own, you should also read/perform one by a dead woman or non-binary poet.
There'll also be the chance to get your hands on books by our guest poets, and some exciting brand-new D[W]PS merch! What more could you want from a Friday evening?
Come for the poetry, stay for the resurrection! #jointheseance
